Revitalizing Broth
If you are craving something warm, you can drink this revitalizing broth or our tomato soup. This broth is very easy to digest and is good while completing the Fitness Arts Fall Cleanse, Detoxification, and Rejuvenation. Choose five or six of these non-gas forming vegetables: beets, carrots, potato peelings, celery, parsley, okra, or any squash. Do not use any of the sulfur veggies: cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli or onion.
Ingredients:
BROTH
- Cut-up veggies – 1 cup
- Pure water – 2 cups
- Nut Milk (organic and unsweetened) – 2 tbsp
- Pink salt and pepper to taste
After liquefying, blending, or shredding the begetables, simmer all ingredients for five to ten minutes over a very low flame. This will break down the fiber and release enzymes. Strain the broth and add nut milk, pink salt and pepper to broth and sip slowly.
SOUP
- Tomato Concentrate – 2 tbsp
- Rice Protein – 2 tbsp
- Pure water (hot) – 1/2 cup
- EFA oil – 1 tsp
- Pink salt and pepper to taste
Start with a 1/2 cup of hot water and add Tomato Concentrate and Rice Protein and stir until smooth. Then add EFA oil, Pink Salt and pepper to taste and sip slowly. Consistency should be somewhat thick. If you desire thicker soup, add more tomato concentrate and rice protein to your water. Conversely, if you desire thinner broth, add more hot water to taste.
