falldetoxbegins640The time is here! I start my fast tomorrow. I’m so excited to cleanse my body, my mind, my spirit!

Follow me this week on the Fitness Arts Facebook page. I plan to post useful information for those following along with the detox. I will fast all week, but even if you only follow along for one day, the benefits are immediate.

If you are planning to fast this week, you will need to drink your shakes every 3 hours.  No exceptions.  Shakes are simple: Make a double batch in the morning and drink 3/4 to 1cup mixed with 1 cup of apple juice every 3 hours. I keep a 7am-10am -1pm-4pm-7pm schedule. I will take a few gulps at bedtime if I feel hungry.

I meditate first thing in the morning and again before dinner. I remind myself the importance of my fast as it is the foundation of youth and all that represents. When it gets tough, and it will, I focus on what truly matters… If I am not healthy and happy, I cannot serve anyone including myself. Without the fast, I will fall short of my health/fitness goals. Simply by getting through this fast, I allow the energy of the universe to reset my buttons. I regain my relationship with food, but more importantly with myself.

I am so humbled by your confidence and trust in my guidance. I am truly honored that you are choosing this path to your perfect health this week.
