I am happy to announce that this brand new detox is much easier than previous years. If you do not yet have the booklet that provides all of the instructions you need to have a successful detoxification, please contact our office at Fitness Arts 847-397-2787. This program has various supplements to enhance your detoxification however, you can still benefit from just the life style changes that effect detoxification without supplements.
In order to have a successful detoxification, you must do the following:
- Drink four (4) liters of water everyday. Start each day by drinking a liter of water with 1/2 tsp of pink salt upon arising. Then add 1/4 tsp of pink salt in each of the three liters.
- Exercise 20-30 minutes every day. A simple brisk walk is all you need.
- Get a good nights sleep each night. Try to go to bed by 10 pm. Turn off your electronics and go to bed. If you are having a difficult time falling asleep, try some melatonin or Neuro 5 HTP.
- Nourish yourself. Nourishment is more than food. Your sense organs provide input to your body. For everything you see, smell, hear, taste or touch, there is a corresponding messenger that is released in your body.
- Avoid all processed foods that are packaged in bags, boxes or cans. There is a “Approved Food List for Step One” in the booklet. Follow it closely. If you do not have this list, you can contact Fitness Arts. Do not make food substitutions.
This first step lasts 7 days or more and is immediately followed by Step Two, which is the detoxification period. It is very important to follow the principles of the diet as closely as possible.
